This Cookies Policy supplements the Privacy Policy of ATHENS FINANCIAL SERVICES PC and concerns www.afs.gr. It explains cookies and similar technologies and how you can manage your choices.
1. Controller and contact

2. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files stored by your browser on your device. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, can also store preferences. Depending on their use, cookie identifiers and IP addresses may constitute personal data; they are not automatically anonymous.
3. Remembering your choice
The application uses the localStorage entry “afs.analytics-consent.v1” to remember your choice, its timestamp and the relevant analytics configuration. It is not an advertising identifier and does not contain contact form details.
Your choice remains valid for up to 180 days in the same browser and on the same website origin. The notice may appear again after expiry, browser data deletion or a change to the analytics configuration. Another device, private browsing or a different domain may require a new choice. If the browser blocks storage, the application does not enable optional analytics and the notice may reappear.
4. Analytics and advertising
The application supports optional Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) integrations. They remain inactive without valid identifiers and activation by AFS. Even after activation, no corresponding tool loads before separate analytics or advertising consent. Acknowledging the notice with “Got it — continue” is not consent to advertising or a newsletter subscription.
If the available Google Analytics feature is enabled, the application requests prior consent and offers a necessary-only option. Google Analytics does not load before acceptance. Accepting analytics does not enable advertising personalisation. Active providers, identifiers and retention periods must be reflected in the updated policy before new technologies are activated.
5. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can reopen “Cookie settings” using the persistent website button. When optional analytics are offered, you can select necessary-only technologies or withdraw previous acceptance. Public browsing and the contact form do not require consent to analytics or advertising.
Cookie settings provides separate analytics and advertising choices, accept-all and reject-optional controls. Withdrawal saves the new choice, disables the tools and reloads the page, attempting to remove accessible _ga, _gcl_, _fbp and _fbc cookies. It cannot delete cookies on other domains or data already transferred. For related requests, contact dataprotection@afs.gr.
With advertising consent, Google and Meta may receive technical data including IP address, browser, public page URL, permitted ad-click identifiers and PageView or Lead events after a successful form submission for measurement and retargeting. This integration does not send form fields or contact details in these events and does not enable enhanced/advanced matching. Providers may process data outside the EEA under their terms and safeguards. Indicative cookies: _ga up to 2 years depending on Google settings, _gcl_ approximately 90 days, _fbp/_fbc approximately 90 days; actual duration depends on provider settings. Our browser choice expires after 6 months and governs future activation, not provider retention.
6. Administrator sign-in and infrastructure
Content administration sign-in is separate from public browsing. Identity services, such as Clerk and the selected corporate sign-in provider, use session and security technologies when you use sign-in. Blocking them may prevent access to administration.
The hosting provider may also process technical data or use security and routing mechanisms. This description of the application is not an exhaustive inventory of infrastructure technologies. Each technology must be assessed by its actual purpose; being part of the infrastructure does not automatically make it strictly necessary.
7. Forms and third-party links
Contact form details are stored to handle your enquiry and forwarded to the relevant team through Microsoft 365 when the email connection is enabled. They are not stored in the cookie preference. The separate optional newsletter choice is unchecked by default and recorded with terms and privacy acceptance, a timestamp and statement version. The marketing team receives your choice; there is no automatic subscription to an external platform.
External links to social networks or other websites open services with their own policies. A link does not, by itself, mean that an advertising pixel is embedded in our application.
8. Browser settings
You can delete or block cookies and website data in your browser's privacy settings. Deletion may remove saved preferences or sign you out of administration. You do not need to accept optional tracking to read public content.
9. Rights and updates
For legal bases, recipients, potential international transfers, retention periods and your rights, read our Privacy Policy. You can contact dataprotection@afs.gr and the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at www.dpa.gr.
This policy is reviewed when technologies or their purposes change. An update does not replace consent where consent is required.
